Dr Terence Chen graduated from the University of New South Wales (MBBS) and completed his residency at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Sutherland Hospital and the former Prince Henry Hospital. He completed his DRACOG at the Newcastle Calvary Mater Hospital and has been active in General Family Practice for over 30 years. Dr Chen’s special interests include family medicine and can speak three Chinese dialects including Mandarin, Cantonese and Shanghainese.

Dr Vesna Savic-Urosevic is the Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and an Examiner for the college. She is a registered provider of the Antenatal Shared care affiliated with Royal Hospital for Women, Royal Prince Alfred and Royal North Shore Hospitals. Dr Vesna is a Clinical Supervisor for Sydney Institute of General Practice and Sydney University students of Medicine. She continues to pass on her knowledge and experience to Doctors in training.

Dr Vesna has been a General Practitioner (Family Physician) for more than 20 years and has experience in all areas of general practice including chronic disease management, mental health, women’s health (incl PAP tests procedures), men’s health, children’s health, travel medicine, and worker’s compensation injuries.

Dr Shobha Chippada has been a doctor for over 20 years in Australia. She enjoys working with patients of all ages to help them achieve positive health outcomes. Dr Chippada is interested in all aspects of general practice and completed her Diploma in Paediatrics from Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. Her special interests include travel medicine, mental health, children’s health, chronic disease management, asthma management, diabetic risk assessment, 45-49 year old health check, and occupational health including pre-employment medicals and WorkCover.

Dr Heather Shribman General Practitioner

Dr Heather Shribman’s interests include women’s health, antenatal care, preventative medicine, metabolic health, weight loss, and chronic disease management. She believes in addressing health concerns holistically, focusing on sustainable lifestyle changes for long-term well-being.

Dr Heather has undergone specialised training in paediatrics, family planning, and sexual health, augmenting her skills with programs like the Sydney Child Health Program and the FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health course. Her background in emergency medicine and experience in rural and remote healthcare settings have honed her ability to provide comprehensive care tailored to individual needs.

Dr Heather advocates for proactive health management, emphasising early intervention and personalised care plans. She believes in empowering patients through education and support, enabling them to lead healthier, happier lives.

Outside of work, Dr Heather leads an active life, balancing her professional endeavours with parenthood and personal interests like ocean swimming, cycling, and occasional triathlons.

Sonette Sudweeks Clinical Psychologist

Sonette Sudweeks qualified in South Africa as a clinical psychologist before immigrating to Australia in 2001. Sonette has been the head of the allied health team in the mental health unit of Ramsay’s Joondalup Health Campus in Perth for 6 years. Sonette had worked in various private practices in WA and NSW. She has extensive experience in working with patients with anxiety, depression (mood disorders), stress management, trauma and ptsd, relationship and couples therapy, grief and loss, anger management, sexuality related issues, personality disorders, eating disorders and substance abuse. Penelope Weekes Clinical Psychologist

Penelope Weekes is our Clinical Psychologist at the practice. Penny currently works Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and bulk bills.

Sharon Liang Accredited Practising Dietitian

Sharon Liang is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia. She graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2018 with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Hons) and has been active in private practice with both dietetics and practice management.

Sharon can assist her patients with any nutritional and dietary concerns including weight management, weight loss, metabolic syndrome, pre-diabetes, insulin resistance, nutrition for seniors/elderly, malnutrition, IBS/gut symptoms, bloating, food allergies and intolerances, chronic health conditions and chronic disease management/TCA/EPC.
